Get students talking with purpose in your classroom! Helping students to become more confident speaking and increasing opportunities to practice speaking is an important part of the classroom. This presentation will include several ready-to-use activities for getting students to speak in the target language in your classroom through low anxiety, interactive games appropriate for the beginning through intermediate students. Have students find things they have in common, find the “assassin” among them, make up alibis, get the best bargains in the market, caption memes, and more! Handouts and slides to use these games with your students will be provided, so that it’s ready to go in your plans for next week or next year!
