About me
I have 7 year's experience teaching Spanish in a K-12 context, 2 years in higher ed, and 6 years in language teacher education. I have an MA in Spanish Pedagogy from Brigham Young University and a Ph.D. in Education, Curriculum, & Instruction with an emphasis in Second Language Education from the University of Minnesota. I am an Assistant Visiting Professor and Clinical Supervisor of student teachers in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Brigham Young University. I currently research the linguistic ideological becoming of preserving language teachers.
