SWCOLT 2025

I have been an educator in world languages for over 40 years. I taught Spanish in Longmont, CO for 18 years, levels 1 through A.P. I am an author of Spanish textbook programs, including the Savvas Auténtico program. I am a regular presenter at ACTFL, regional, and state conferences and I deliver professional development workshops nationwide. In 2022 I received the Genevieve Overman Service Award from CCFLT in Colorado. I retired from my full-time position as Vice President of Humanities for Savvas Learning Company in February 2022 after 25 years of service and now do part-time work training world languages teachers. I live in Erie, CO with my wife of 43 years and enjoy spending time with our sons and their families, including our 5 grandchildren.
